Pamela’s mission is to create a legal practice that is focused on clients first and foremost and provides superior legal services in Family and De Facto Law and Wills and Estate. When Pamela works on a matter she always gives 100% commitment and dedication. She understands that each client is an individual and focuses on meeting the needs, interests and concerns of each of her clients.

Pamela has worked predominately in the field of Family and De Facto Law  and Wills and Estates since her admission as a lawyer.

She is currently the Managing Director and Principal of Cominos Family Lawyers and is passionate about providing a service to her clients that is protective of their rights and yet is understanding of their changing circumstances.

Pamela understands that the legal process can be overwhelming and separation and divorce can be a most stressful and vulnerable and confusing time for many people, as such she endeavors to always explain the legal process and to ensure that her clients are at ease and well-prepared for the journey ahead.

Pamela is a strong advocate and often represents her clients at both the Federal Circuit Court and the Family Court of Australia. She understands the intricacies of family law issues and is up to date with all the current legislation and case law with respect to children custody, property, domestic and family violence and maintenance issues.

She has represented, CEO’s, Managing Directors and  high net wealth individuals and has dealt with complex trust structures, businesses and  companies. She has represented clients who live both interstate and overseas and who have property outside Australia.

Pamela is also an Independent Children’s Lawyer and in this role has acquired a deep knowledge of the legal complexities of parenting matters.

Pamela is a collaboratively trained Family Lawyer and is able to represent her clients in collaborative family law practice and will always encourage her clients to resort to the Court process only as a last resort.

Wills & Estates

Pamela practices in Wills and Probate Law and is able to competently assist you in matters that involve drafting your Will or issues that arise from probate or challenges to Wills.

Nationally Accredited Mediator

Pamela is an accredited mediator and can assist people to resolve and settle their matters outside of Court. Pamela has a collaborative approach to mediation and is able to assist people to settle complex parenting and property matters. Pamela is also available to mediate in family provision matters.

Fiona Hotop

Senior Associate

Fiona is an Associate Solicitor and has been passionate about practising in the area of family law and has done so almost exclusively since her admission as a solicitor.

Fiona’s Qualifications

  • Admission as a Solicitor with the Supreme Court of NSW and High Court of Australia

Fiona has experience in all types of family law matters including divorce and complex parenting and property matters involving married parties, same-sex and de facto couples.

Fiona’s key objective is to provide her clients with compassion and understanding during what is commonly a difficult time in their lives, together with practical advice to suit their individual circumstances.

Where possible Fiona’s approach is to assist her clients to resolve their matter without resorting to litigation.  However in situations where this is not possible, whether due to the urgency of a particular matter, or a situation involving a high degree of conflict, or for any other relevant reason, Fiona is experienced in representing clients and regularly appears in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the Family Court of Australia in the Sydney and Parramatta registries.

Fiona is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia and is a member of the New South Wales Law Society and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.

Angela Brischetto

Senior Associate

Angela was admitted as a solicitor in 1992 and has extensive experience in the areas of Wills and Estates and Property Law.

Angela’s Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Laws (UNSW)
  • Admission as a Solicitor with the Supreme Court of NSW and High Court of Australia

Angela was admitted as a solicitor in 1992 and has worked in a variety of small to medium sized legal practices including her own practice for 10 years. She has practised predominantly in the areas of Wills and Estates and Property Law throughout her career.

Angela has extensive experience in drafting a wide range of Estate Planning documents including Wills, (including Testamentary Trusts), Powers of Attorney, Appointments of Enduring Guardian, Advance Care Directives (Living Wills) and Memoranda of Wishes.  She uses plain English wherever possible.

Where possible, Angela prefers to work with a client’s accountant and financial advisers to ensure that the client receives the most comprehensive and appropriate advice.  She is empathetic and prepared to take the time necessary to help her clients make some of the most important decisions they will make regarding their estates, financial affairs and end of life issues.

Angela is also able to assist clients with all property-related matters including conveyancing and commercial leasing.

Angela is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales.  She is currently studying a Masters of Applied Law majoring in Estate Planning.

In addition to her accomplishments in law, Angela is a dedicated and proud mother of three children, 2 of whom are young adults. Angela is married to a barrister and both have inspired their daughter to embark on a career in law.

Angela loves to keep fit by playing golf and last year participated in the “Bloody Long Walk.”  She also regularly joins the team at Cominos Family Lawyers in weekly fitness classes.

Angela lives by the saying “Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken”.

Elizabeth Bruce


Elizabeth has been a valued member of our team since January 2017 and has enrolled in the Diploma in Law with the Legal Profession Admission Board.

Elizabeth’s Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science (Sydney University)

Elizabeth Bruce has been a valued member of our team since January 2017. Elizabeth has completed a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science, majoring in Anatomy and Anthropology, and minored in communication and ethics.

Elizabeth has enrolled in the Diploma in Law with the Legal Profession Admission Board and commences her studies in May 2017. Elizabeth is a diligent and enthusiastic member of our team. She works in the role of Para-Legal and has a warm and caring manner towards all our clients.

Elizabeth is the middle of three siblings and she loves to meet up with her friends and family during her spare time. Elizabeth enjoys staying fit and volunteering at the Sydney Children’s Hospital.

Elizabeth loves Dr Seuss and says “if you have brains in your head and feet in your shoes, you can steer yourself in any direction you choose”.
