No one says, “I do” and sees themselves signing divorce papers in the future and yet here you are!
In Australia, 40% of marriages end unhappily and the rate of success for de facto relationships is even less inspiring.
This life-changing event continues to threaten and divide people. If you’re sick you have friends and family rally around you, if you have a death in the family, people are there to care for you. If your relationship breaks down, you may suddenly find yourself feeling very, very alone! No wonder so many people going through a divorce experience feelings of loss, loneliness and rejection.
Our Principal, Pamela Cominos is an innovative and empowering mentor, coach and facilitator. She has written and developed two programs, The Healthy Divorce Program and the New Beginnings Program that will educate, empower and inspire you to take on the experience of a Healthy Divorce.
Pamela developed the Healthy Divorce Program after observing her clients experience separation and divorce in a toxic and unhealthy way, even in circumstances where the divorce was what they wanted or was a joint decision. Pamela observed her clients often feeling vulnerable, isolated and alone. She decided to help people going through the end of a significant relationship by writing “7 Principles for a Healthy Divorce” and these principles have formed the foundation of the Healthy Divorce Program.
The 7 Principles for a Healthy Divorce are each created from Pamela’s deep knowledge and experience as a family lawyer, a mediator and an Independent Children’s Lawyer and her own personal experience in having gone through a divorce after a long marriage with young children.
The 7 Principles for a Healthy Divorce are a coaching tool and they are designed to profoundly transform the experience of separation and divorce for every individual who participates in the program.
“You must be the change you wish to see in the world” – Mahatma Ghandi
If you answered YES to any of the above questions, then the Healthy Divorce program is for you!
In the Healthy Divorce program, we explore, discuss and inspire you to take on the “7 Principles for a Healthy Divorce” and create a divorce experience that works for you and your family.
